Lauren Thompson
As a Psychology, Public Relations and Advertising major at USC, my goal is to connect science and journalistic storytelling by converting psychological and public health research to a journalism, PR & Advertising format, making it more accessible and understandable to the public. I have experience working in groups, being a part of a student-run PR firm, and have experience creating media kits for organizations. I turn complex ideas in health, statistics, neuroscience, psychology, and public relations- into journalism stories, research, and products that feel personal, simplified, and specific to the public. My goal is to present science, the news, and sell products through an authentic, clear, and science-backed brand.
